The World I Want to Live In

The World I Want To Live In

When I was a child the world I want to live is like people can use flying cars as a transportation, online shopping. Thus, people can do everything easily, quickly and saving time. Besides that, the world is peace without wars and natural disasters. As Shakespeare (1603/2003), said there a thousand Hamlets in a thousand people’s eyes. Different people have different dreams world want to live in. Now for me, the world I want to live in is filled with peace, justice, equality and progressive. However for other, it might be a world are filled of technology, innovation, wealth and freedom.

First and foremost, I think all the people are wanting to live in a world which is peaceful and safe. A place is without wars, dangerous, violence and crimes. In the past month, our country had four shooting cases. The latest cases happened in Penang a few days ago, the victim park his car outside the school to pick up his children from school suddenly the men who on the back site of the motorcycle take out pistol and fired five shots at the driver seats. Besides that, the other three shooting cases had happened in Kuala Lumpur in the past month. (Lianhe Zaobao, 2025)

Secondly, the important part of the world I want to live in is equality. I believe everyone should have equal opportunities for example gender, skin colour, religion, economic and family background. Nowadays, our society inequality still exists in workplace, education and healthcare. The world I want to live in is all the people treated other with respect and not critical let them show themselves generously. As Michelle Obama (2018) noted that also speakers powerfully about these issues in her book Becoming, encouraging young people to rise above their situation and fight for a change. In addition, stories like Malala Yousafzai’s fight for girls’ for the education it reminds us about how strong the desire for equality can be (Yousafzai & Lamb, 2013).

Another point of the world I want to live in is values and protect nature. The environment is facing severe problems like deforestation, pollution, climate change, and global warming. These issues affect not just plants and animals but also humanity's future. I want to live in a world with clean air, clear rivers, green forests, and skies full of stars at night. In this world, people would actively use renewable energy, use less single-use plastic, recycle appropriately, and take big and small steps to show their deep concern for the environment. Young environmentalists like Greta Thunberg (2019) have served as a reminder that we all share responsibility for preserving the planet and that even one voice can have a significant impact. We run the risk of losing both the natural world's beauty and our capacity to live on this planet if we keep ignoring nature's warnings.

In conclusion, the world I want to live in is will not be realized, but it might be possible. Because the world I live in now is not perfect. A world is peaceful, safe, fair and equality this can be reality if we all play our part. We need to take action in our communities, educate ourselves, and show concern for others. Little adjustments like being kind, speaking up, and making wise decisions are the first steps. We are the first step towards a better world. The world we wish to live in can be realised for future generations if we act with respect, love, and bravery.
